Wow. I have not logged on and updated my blog in way too long. My apologies. It is time for the outdoor play for the toddlers to begin. This equals (roughly) the worst hour ever. Trying to herd 9 toddlers outside (2 of which are not proficient in walking.) down 6 deadly steps into a sand infested play area is nothing short of hell. Did I mention we also have to dip them in sunscreen before we go outside? Who likes sunscreen? No one. Let the crying wars begin.
So we get outside and naturally the toddlers eat the sand, throw the sand, fall off of slides and fight over shovels and buckets. I am focused on not getting sand in my shoes their safety while all this madness is occurring.
Who thought this situation could get any worse? Not me.
But IT DOES.
We have now discovered that there are ticks that live in trees. Yes, they land on you when they fall. Disgusting. It only gets better, if you can manage to avoid the falling ticks, you might think you are in the clear. Wrong again. There are also sand fleas.
My little Johnny above has the right idea.
Wish me luck. I will need it.
